The Challenge

Primary was engaged to take its learnings from other areas of the business and cross apply them to the Healthcare division, supporting them on large bespoke builds and multi-stand deliveries. The exhibition management from Primary has facilitated the movement forward of the brand. 

The biggest exhibition stand of the year is a 10 x 12 double decker stand. As the primary sponsors of UKIO, the client wanted an imposing structure that stood out within the hall. The stand needed to be able to function as a product showcase and launch area as well as creating product awareness and meeting the criteria of each year’s key objectives.

Over recent years, the brand has evolved which subsequently meant reflecting new brand guidelines, messaging and language as well as accommodating the needs of new product launches on stand.

Exhibition Stand Insights

As we had delivered the lead stand for a number of years, we wanted to provide the client with valuable insights into stand footfall which, in turn, would highlight key areas of interest to visitors and perhaps those areas that might need a refresh. GPS sensors tracked footfall from individual visitors and the data from this will subsequently help shape the design and configuration of product placement and demo areas for future exhibitions.

Engaging the Internal Communications Team

By working in partnership with stand owners at all levels of the business our event management processes have allowed the internal communications team to take a more overarching approach focusing on messaging rather the event detail.  Being so close to the internal divisions meant that our understanding of the brand could be reflected in all elements of each exhibition stand; bespoke lead stand or multi-stand delivery. Key elements of the project delivery included:
